The Facial Reflexology is an holistic technique for both specialists and beginners, even for non-believers interested in taking care of themselves naturally. It allows us to avoid some harmful medicines and helps with the social environment. Multireflexology does not pretend to identify illness as the modern medical examinations or the traditional Oriental medicine do.
Facial therapy is economic and comforting, it has an immediate result and can be combined with any traditional treatment.

At first sight there are many points, many diagrams of projections, many tools!

The inventor of the method, Prof. Bùi Quôc Châu, describes Multireflexology as a therapeutic cybernetic technique as it compares every single point of the map with switches of a control panel.

Watch out, despite we are not computers - fortunately we are not that simple - multireflexology offers us a wide range of natural treatments. We stimulate specific areas of the face in order to put our self-regulation process to work. We get immediate results thanks to the proximity of face and brain.

Multireflexology - Dien Chan is complex but not complicated

Thanks to the progressive teaching programs and the broad experience of our team, we teach since 2002. We do not have the right to simplify a method recently discovered (1980) and we want you to keep with the research.

First steps
in Multireflexology - Dien Chan

The detector is the only certain way to find the painful spots with accuracy. The coordinates are very precise and a difference of the millimeter order is always possible. We suggest the beginner to start with the study of the diagrams of projection which describe the areas we can stimulate with easier-to-use multireflex tools.

Nevertheless, if we need to apply a specific formula of .bqc points and we do not have much experience, we recommend using the small hammer. In case you want to treat yourself, you need to be in front of a mirror to use the detector. You can use the small hammer once you identify the area and watch a good TV series for example.

Use of the detector on bqc·points

Although here we can not act as a trainer on a face-to-face workshop or class, we will try to give you some advice.
Put the detector perpendicularly to skin surface, keep it with flexibility and put some pressure by sliding the detector slowly in order to find a painful point; with the help of the patients, observing their signs.

We will try to look for the most sensitive points and stimulate them for at least 20 seconds. The pain should be tolerable.

Once we have identified the point, keep the detector perpendicularly to the skin surface and put some pressure so the patient can tell you the painful areas. This is important for the diagnosis and for the treatment of the illness.

Sometimes pain can make us cry. We need to check this is not caused by the pressure of the detector. When we find a painful point, we need to move the detector away and turn back to the point again in order to check the diagnosis with the involuntary patient’s help (words, gestures, movements…).

In addition to the points and the reflex zones that are part of the 28 diagrams of projection, according to the Facial reflexology we can also find others.Throughout the course, the teacher offers a list and gives some typical and practical examples. He teaches how to get used and comfortable with other reflex connections with other organs. There are lots of connections.

Maintenance of the multireflex tools

We recommend to wash the multireflex tools with soapy water every time you use them. It is important to avoid any infection of skin diseases.

In order to keep the tools clean, brush them with soap and water or with a mild alcohol solution. Brass tools (so called “yin copper”) may loose brightness over time.

Tools are made of natural horn; be careful with strong alcohol solutions and with very hot liquids. The use of warm water should be enough. We do not recommend disinfection tools, they can either deform or damage them.

Use of the moxa in Facial Reflexology

Moxibustion is used by the most expert therapists and it has very good results. Heat acts as an acupuncture needle in the point to treat and it is more precise and acts deeply. The multireflex moxa reaches 700ºC thanks to its high density.

Keep the moxa between thumb, index and middle finger; the headset is a support for the patient’s skin and so you get the perfect distance: nearly 2 centimeters.
Move the moxa slowly keeping attention to the reactions of the patients. They may feels some effect similar to burn.

If the patient is uncomfortable, move the moxa away for a few seconds, afterwards you can start again for two times. We have noticed that people are more sensitive to heat in warm climate countries.
Heat is recommended in case of flu, rheumatism, inflammation of the ORL areas, sinusitis, numbness, hematoma...
You should not use the moxa more than once a day because of possible burns.
