When searching for training, we are often faced with a jungle of equally appealing offers.
This is why it is extremely importantâbefore choosing your trainingâto ensure the seriousness and validity of the programmes presented.
The Dien Chan course does not consist of diluting knowledge to increase duration and price. Quite the opposite!
Systematically verify that your future trainer is not an isolated individual who has improvised as a Dien Chan professor. Compare publications and trust your intuition. Do not hesitate to call the person offering the course.
Beware of the many lies spread by certain individuals wanting to exploit the enthusiasm for natural therapies. It is essential to adapt to an adult audience that does not always have much time.
Read the articles, investigate, and compare, as this is an investment in time and money that you might regret later.
Ensure you align with the ISMDC's teaching style by attending an online or in-person workshop. All dates are published in the training.multireflexology.com.
Consult the curriculums of ISMDC trainers on www.multireflexology.com.
Our trainers remain focused on the original facial reflexology method âDien Chanâ, even though it invites us to consult and explore other knowledge sources throughout our learning.
Indeed, Dien Chan is a care technique that draws from various medical knowledge, both Western and traditional Chinese and Vietnamese.
The courses we offer are for all those who wish to learn authentic Multireflexology - Dien Chan.
No dilution or simplification, as we ensure our trainers do not strayâeven passionatelyâinto explaining Chinese medicine, dietetics, Buddhist philosophy, or the Tao Te ChingâŚ
All these subjects deserve our utmost respect, but we insist that from the ISMDC, we focus on teaching what is detailed in our programmes.
Whether you are a doctor, acupuncturist, nurse, aesthetician, or osteopath, or even in the midst of a career change, you must start with the basics.
Our goal is to guide you, module by module, to become creators of personalised care so that you can precisely adapt to the issues you will encounter throughout your career.
We feel compelled to write these lines to address all those who doubt (and understandably so) when choosing where, with whom, and how to train.
Our programmes, as well as all the care offered during the courses, are fully adapted to the reality of Western consultations. From 2002 and for 10 years, we helped Professor BÚi Quôc Châu revise many of these protocols and programmes designed for a Vietnamese audience.
After the Vietnam War, Professor Châu had the genius and humility to teach simple gestures to his patients from very disadvantaged backgrounds. He taught them to become their own therapists to take control of their health.
In the West, we do not always have as much time for training, but we have the advantage of addressing an audience that has learned to learn.
We can therefore achieve our objectives more quickly while respecting the origin of the method and its pedagogy.
For example, we offer free treatments during courses by inviting all those who wish to observe or receive Dien Chan treatment.
Your professor describes their actions so the entire class can benefit and correctly assimilate the applied reasoning.
After the training, students remain in contact with the ISMDC for constant updates through the international Dien Chan club, the Dien Chan experts' blog (www.dienchan.academy), etc.
But also the newsletters (news.dienchan.pro) with Q&A sessions.
The ideal is to subscribe for free to the channel www.DienChan.tv to enjoy the many videos classified by theme.
It goes without saying that nothing truly replaces an in-person course with a member of the Dien Chan experts team!
For this, consult the training schedule on training.multireflexology.com.
The book, didactic eBooks, and the interactive application Faceasit are complementary tools rich in content.
We strive to keep them constantly updated to assist all practitioners by becoming their best source of inspiration.
This incredible app contains all the information available to help you build very rigorous care protocols.
Attention, this is not a mere catalogue of Dien Chan formulas!
Like the therapist, it helps you locate the issue, then choose the closest condition.
Faceasit also allows you to study the facial reflex diagrams and the complete map of fixed points.
To better understand, we invite you to watch videos showing Faceasit in action from the folder dienchan.Faceasit.com.
We are the authors of the reference work available from Grancher editions in Paris: the ÂŤABC of Dien ChanÂť.
We strongly recommend this book while noting that we have offered 100% of the royalties to Professor BÚi Quôc Châu to thank him for many years of sharing, laughter, and teaching.
To save you from expensive shipping (books are heavy), you can find it in all good bookstores.
From time to time, we write booklets addressing specific questions to help Dien Chan and ChanâbeautĂŠ practitioners revise inspiring protocols.
These thematic eBooks are an excellent way to consolidate your knowledge to approach treatments with more confidence.
Occasionally consult the catalogue of proposals from multireflex.pro.
The ideal is, of course, to attend a course at the ISMDC. The eBooks and application then become excellent allies.
All our trainers are passionate individuals who understand that sharing enriches our natural need to contribute to the happiness of others.
Dien Chan is a technique, not a medicine. Learning the gestures and knowing how to approach a problem is essential. Practical sessions led by your professor will shed light on this method, which may seem complex at first.
Dien Chan is complex, but not complicated!
Your trainer will teach you not only the theory but also the subtleties that are not always easy to convey in a book.
We do not want to merely transmit the technique but also offer you the ability to master it.
Knowing Dien Chan and using your intuition opens up a multitude of therapeutic paths.
It is with this sole purpose that since 2002, the ISMDC team has worked, refined, and improved the programmes of the various training modules.
The courses are for adults, and your trainer should not be a parrot but an artist passionate about Dien Chan. Until 2009, Professor Châu insisted on philosophy and understanding Vietnamese subtleties before authorising us to become trainers.
Now, many former students improvise as trainers because they attended a course by Professor Châu, who has been invited by other students structured as a Loi 1901 association for several years.
Indeed, anyone is free to invite Professor Châu and organise as many levels as possible to satisfy an information-hungry audience, but this does not guarantee the quality and seriousness of the teaching.
Unfortunately, alternative therapies are often discredited because they are divulged as if they hold secrets or magic.
From the International School of Multireflexology - Dien Chan, we do not sell information but the talent, work, and professionalism of our trainers. Many believe they are buying a diploma; this is extremely sad and discredits the technique. On the other hand, these individuals profit from this demand.
We believe everyone should investigate, search, scrutinise, and question before choosing a course.
The ideal is to speak with your trainer and verify if they merely repeat what is in a book you can read yourself or if they possess sufficient experience to dissect any bqc¡point formula and have the competence to build multireflexology bridges according to the case, combining the diagrams they are supposed to master, etc.
Do not hesitate to attend free treatment sessions (if they offer them, as we consider it essential to be able to treat unconvinced patients in public). Phrases like âyouâll see, it will get better laterâ and âthatâs more complicated,â âweâll see that at the next level,â and âthatâs how Professor Châu taught meâ reveal charlatans.
Ensure your trainer is part of a team of professionals who can vouch for their credibility, and that the organisation they belong to has experience and does not sell its certificates.
What are their publications, their participation in conferences or other important events?
It is extremely sad to have to write these lines, but too many people share their bad experiences (wasting time and money) with us. They explain that navigating the jungle of offers is not easy.
Contact your trainer or the president of their school; this will help you better understand the course programme and why 4 modules are sufficient, but also the importance of practice and study.
In 2002, I founded the CLUBQC to try and bring together all of Professor Châu's students on a large forum. We even organised meetings with therapists from the northern provinces of Vietnam in 2006 and 2009. Each time, we were an international group of 25 students, accompanied by Professor Châu throughout the study trip and across the entire Vietnamese territory to immerse ourselves in its culture!
But as often happens, thinking too big prevents us from properly managing the different teams. At the ISMDC, we only speak 4 languages and have not found the means or assistance for a global office mobilising everyone. This is why we can only develop the structure dedicated to the members of our school.
For this new stage, we still offer a support club for former students but wish to improve the exchange platform by opening it to all Dien Chan enthusiasts (the blog, the video channel, etc.).
Now that Dien Chan is more widely known, Professor BÚi Quôc Châu (humble and from a developing country) easily succumbs to the temptation of certain highly paid invitations with the sole purpose of spreading his method; this is respectable.
However, the Western audience demands a more consistent pedagogy. For this reason, starting in Barcelona and then in many other countries, I proposed in 2002 to Professor Châu to organise and structure the training for an educated audience.
Indeed, his students in Vietnam were mostly former patients who did not always have the opportunity to continue their studies.
Together, we toured Spain and France, always accompanied by one of his sons, BĂši Minh Tâm, BĂši Minh Luan, and BĂši Minh TrĂ, until 2009, for almost two months each year.
Mr. Van Que Nguyen, who introduced me to Professor Châu in 2001, undertook extensive translation work that served as my foundation. From 2002, I began writing the complete course manual, first in Spanish and then in French.
Throughout these years of teaching, I completed, redrew, and corrected the diagrams and the map of Dien Chan. Always under the passionate supervision of Professor Châu and in close collaboration with BĂši Minh Tâm and BĂši Minh TrĂ.
Professor Châu was thrilled to see that Dien Chan finally had a secretary, graphic designer, and writer entirely devoted to the multireflexology method. He always told me, âyou are the link,â and loved the exchange of ideas between Barcelona and Saigon, which are very similar cities. Moreover, I lived at number 26 on my street, and he lived at number 19 on his. If you know these two individuals and these two bqc¡points, you will quickly understand the joke.
In 2006, during one of our study trips to Vietnam, we introduced ChanâbeautĂŠ. This natural aesthetic and holistic well-being method puts Dien Chan at the service of beauty.
Since then, our research department and countless feedback from professionals have enriched this incredibly successful technique.
It was then in 2013 that we produced the interactive magazine of ChanâbeautĂŠ; an app entirely dedicated to aesthetic protocols.
In 2009, with the dissemination work bearing fruit, Professor Châu was solicited by other organisations. Invited internationally, I decided to provide him with a reference work by publishing our course manual with Grancher editions in Paris. To ensure this cost us nothing, I designed the cover and the entire layout of the book.
And to thank Professor Châu for this close collaboration, I offered him 100% of the royalties on the ABC of Dien Chan. This was a way to continue remunerating him as before.
I was surprised when I discovered that a student from 2009 created a new association, the ÂŤAcadĂŠmie du Dien ChanÂť, to offer courses in Paris by multiplying the levels endlessly. We have therefore reorganised and are truly sorry for those who discover us too late.
