The Pedagogical Program

The training objectives

ISMDC offers didactic and chronological training that ensures the integration of all the principles, concepts, and work techniques of Dien Chan.

Without ever simplifying or diluting the original method, it is divided into four modules: DienChan❜reflex, DienChan❜pro, DienChan❜clinic, and DienChan❜master, which must be followed in this order.

After completing at least the DienChan❜reflex module, your training can be supplemented by the natural aesthetics and holistic well-being module: Chan❜beauté.

To achieve excellent results and become a good Dien Chan therapist, the trainer teaches from the first module how to familiarize yourself with reflection diagrams.
It is important to be able to visualize and project them in three dimensions on any face. This is the best way to be able to move from one to the other to adapt to the patient.
Additionally, during the course, the trainer describes numerous pathologies that illustrate the treatments learned and observed.

Multireflexology mental gymnastics is important to be able to quickly find a solution adapted to the condition being treated.

The diagrams of reflexion are the first elements to assimilate (DienChan❜reflex). This exercise of projections allows the beginner to memorize and understand more easily the map of fixed points on the face that we study later (DienChan❜pro).

The student must acquire good theoretical knowledge through written and visual documents, but must not neglect the essential contribution of practice. It is thanks to the observation of the work of therapists and trainers in Dien Chan who have experience, who combine techniques, diagrams and multireflex tools, that the mind of the student opens up and frees itself from certain preconceived ideas.

Since 1977, the primary goal of Prof. Bùi Quôc Châu has been to offer an easy-to-apply method to help the patient become their own therapist in the face of many common disorders.
However, the practitioner in Dien Chan will be able to consolidate their care using bqc·point formulas (DienChan❜pro) and develop personalized treatments (DienChan❜clinic and DienChan❜master).

The experience shared with Prof. Bùi Quôc Châu and his collaborators from Hanoi and the Việt Y Ðạo center in Saigon has allowed us to create protocols combining the knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine (DienChan❜master).
We also teach Chan❜formulas, which allow us to design even more tailored formulas for our patients.

Dien Chan and Beauty

Observing spots and other unsightly imperfections on the face can indicate the origin of the problem with more precision. It is a matter of interpreting the external signs—thanks to the knowledge acquired during the upper modules—we will talk about "facial diagnosis".

We cannot include therapeutic aesthetic techniques —Chan❜beauté— in the Dien Chan course program. The curriculum is comprehensive enough, and we do not want to fall into the trap of all kinds of "tips and tricks" that are only commercial baits.
Our research department has been developing this natural aesthetic and holistic well-being method since 2006. We want to share our splendid progress through our training.

Chan❜beauté is a serious technique that requires learning the basics of Dien Chan (minimum DienChan❜reflex) to achieve maximum convincing results.
To dedicate the course entirely to the application of facial reflexology to therapeutic aesthetics, the Chan❜beauté module is therefore proposed as an aggregation of the complete curriculum.

Course philosophy

The 4 Dien Chan modules must be followed chronologically. Be aware that the commercial trend of some institutions needlessly dilutes the training into multiple levels...

Each ISMDC module lasts ±14 hours (often over two days or multiple days if online) and the student is completely free to decide at the end of each one, whether or not to continue their training in succession. Four modules are sufficient to acquire all the theoretical knowledge, diagrams and the bqc·points map as well as stimulation techniques with the multireflex tools.

However, we encourage our students to extend their learning by studying other approaches and also taking an interest in Chinese and Western medicine. Dien Chan is an encouragement to combine natural healing methods in order to always be able to adapt to the particular situation of their patients.

ISMDC courses focus on authentic Multireflexology - Dien Chan, and we have no authority to teach dietetics and martial arts or Chinese or Western medicine. Without any esotericism, but relying on philosophy, original Dien Chan is a rational, fast, and surprising technique to treat many common disorders.

The practice of Dien Chan does not hurt, damage the skin, or encourage the consumption of products.

Students who have taken a course with an approved trainer (curricula are available at www.DienChan.pro) can continue their training with another member of the team. However, we cannot accept external people into the higher modules directly from ISMDC.

A certificate of attendance from the International School of Multireflexology - Dien Chan is issued at the end of each module. This certificate is the assurance that the student has completed comprehensive and professional training. It is an internationally recognized guarantee for their consultation.

Module-by-Module detailed program

Available in video format here and also in written format below.

The different Dien Chan training modules are structured in a logical and fluid way with the following objectives:

In order to correctly practice Dien Chan, it is essential to learn how to project basic diagra, of reflection (DienChan❜reflex) onto any face.
It is fundamental to understand how Dien Chan principles combine with each other exponentially in order to never be stuck in a complicated situation (DienChan❜reflex).

We then achieve very good results in terms of relieving structural pain by employing simple stimulation techniques using multireflex tools. All instruments used follow the concepts of yin and yang based on clinical observations of their effects.

Once the basic reflexology maps have been well assimilated, we work on the bqc·points map (DienChan❜pro) and the different techniques of stimulation and their gestures.
As with the reflexology maps studied beforehand (DienChan❜reflex), each line of the map is based on reliefs common to all faces. We make sure the student knows how to correctly locate the bqc·points.

It is thanks to the integration of reflexology maps that the map becomes less complex. Although the numbering of the bqc·points ends at 633, there are no more than 257 bqc·points!
So be careful of those who claim there are over 500!
We explain how Prof. Bùi Quôc Châu optimized his map during the DienChan❜pro module.

We also study the concepts of yin and yang (DienChan❜pro) from a therapeutic point of view and always in a practical way. They will allow us to determine the nature of the disorder with the intention of harmonizing the bodily and facial stages of the complete care plan.
With the DienChan❜pro module, we are then able to combine the fixed point formulas with the stimulations (yin or yang) on the reflex zones.
Directed practice perfectly illustrates the agility that the therapist must aim for in order to obtain the best results.

Our ability to project the first reflexology charts with each other will allow us to create "multireflexological bridges" (DienChan❜clinic) and verify that "one is all and all is one".
We could quote the Yi King and use holographic metaphors or fractal algorithms to illustrate the concepts... But more simply, practice and constant dialogue with the patient will be our best sources of inspiration.

Professor Bùi Quôc Châu discovered many reflexion charts on the face that help us build these "bridges".
Now that we are able to correctly apply the bqc·points formulas (DienChan❜pro) and project the reflection charts on any face (DienChan❜reflex), we must start structuring our own personalized treatments (DienChan❜clinic).
It is then that all of our previous knowledge will become very useful in nourishing our care in a multireflexological way.

The DienChan❜master can only be taken at least 12 months after the DienChan❜clinic.
This last module is extremely beneficial if you have practiced. We will address more complex cases and understand what worked, or not.
We adapt the course pedagogy to the acquired experiences and will obviously review many principles that we sometimes tend to forget.

This is about introducing new ways of considering disorders to enrich your care.
Many subtle concepts do not find their place in previous modules because they require the student's competence to be properly integrated.

We can already learn to make very specific formulas by combining Western and Eastern medicine principles. These «Chan❜formulæ» will serve as a basis to be completed by bqc·points and reflex zone stimulations to perfect our personalized care.
